TL;DR: In this article, a compact open-loop resonator bandpass filter with suppression of the second and the third harmonics is demonstrated, which is based on a Tri-Section SIR to achieve size minimization and suppressed spurious response.
Abstract: —A compact open-loop resonator bandpass filter with suppression of the second and the third harmonics is demonstrated in this paper. This novel filter is based on a Tri-Section SIR to achieve size minimization and suppressed spurious response. The simulations and measurements of a 0.9 GHz prototype bandpass filter are presented. The measured results agree well with simulation and calculation.

TL;DR: In this paper, an active power filter connected in series to the power distribution system is presented and analyzed in terms of the principles of operations under steady-state and transient operating conditions.
Abstract: An active power filter connected in series to the power distribution system is presented and analyzed in this paper. The series active power filter is implemented with a PWM voltage-source inverter and operates in conjunction with a resonant LC filter connected in parallel to the power lines and is able to compensate current harmonics and the fundamental negative and zero sequence voltage components generated by nonlinear unbalanced loads. The proposed series active power filter also compensates zero sequence current harmonic components that flow through the neutral conductor. In particular, the active power filter is discussed in terms of the principles of operations under steady-state and transient operating conditions. The design of the power and control circuits are reported. >

TL;DR: In this article, a novel electronically tunable mixed-mode universal biquad by using four single-output and one dual-output-operational transconductance amplifiers, two grounded capacitors is proposed.
Abstract: A novel electronically tunable mixed-mode universal biquad by using four single-output and one dual-output-operational transconductance amplifiers, two grounded capacitors is proposed. The proposed circuit has ability to realize voltage, current, transconductance, and transresistance mode, and can the following advantageous features: (i) realization of low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, notch, and all-pass filter responses from the same configuration, (ii) employment of only grounded capacitors ideal for integrated circuit implementation, (iii) orthogonal controlling of ? o and Q for easily electronic tunability, and (iv) low active and passive sensitivity performance. Finally, to verify our architecture, we have designed this analog filter chip with TSMC 0.35-μm 2P4M CMOS technology. This chip operates to 1 MHz and consumes 30.95 mW. The chip area of the analog filter is about 0.823 mm2.

TL;DR: In this paper, a universal active filter with current gain and with single input and three outputs using second-generation current conveyors (CCIIs) is presented, which offers the following advantageous features: independent control of (ω 0, Q and current gain through separate grounded resistors, use of only two grounded capacitors making it ideal for integration, and no requirements of critical matching condition/cancellation constraints in realising the lowpass, bandpass, highpass and notch filter responses.

TL;DR: In this paper, an open stub has two functions in the filter: (1) perturbation for the multimode operation and (2) zero point generation at the stopband for the control.
Abstract: A novel multimode bandpass filter with high and wide rejection band is proposed by using an open stub. The open-stub has two functions in the filter: (1) perturbation for the multimode operation and (2) zero point generation at the stopband for the stopband control. With proper input/output coupling, additional two poles, i.e., four poles, can be generated for the proposed filter structure. The design is then verified by experiment. The single structure four-mode filter has low insertion loss, good stopband performance, and compact size and linear phase.
