TL;DR: In this paper, a new configuration for high input impedance bandpass, lowpass and highpass filters with low component spread using two current-feedback amplifiers is presented, which has the following features: orthogonal control of the natural frequency and quality factor by grounded resistors or capacitors.
Abstract: A new configuration for high input impedance bandpass, lowpass and highpass filters with low component spread using two current-feedback amplifiers is presented. It has the following features: orthogonal control of the natural frequency and quality factor by grounded resistors or capacitors, simple conversion into a voltage-controlled filter, minimum active components, low active and passive sensitivities, low component spread suitable for high-Q applications and low output impedance. Experimental results are given to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed circuits. >

TL;DR: In this paper, a universal filter using two current-feedback amplifiers is presented, which can realize lowpass, bandpass, high-pass, notch and all-pass filters from the same configuration.
Abstract: A new universal filter using two current-feedback amplifiers is presented. This filter can realise lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch and allpass filters from the same configuration. It has the following features: orthogonal control of the natural frequency and quality factor by grounded resistors, easy conversion into a voltage-controlled filter, minimum active components, without match components except for allpass applications, low active and passive sensitivities, and cascadability. Experimental results that confirm the theoretical analyses are obtained.

TL;DR: In this article, a novel dual-mode dual-band bandpass filter based on conventional triangular dualmode filter is designed, which has the characteristics of compact structure, low insertion loss and so on.
Abstract: A novel dual-mode dual-band bandpass filter based on conventional triangular dual-mode filter is designed in this paper. The filter has the characteristics of compact structure, low insertion loss and so on. Based on the current design schemes, the design of dualmode and dual-band filter can be integrated in a novel filter structure. Several attenuation poles in the stopband are realized to improve the selectivity of the proposed bandpass filter. The experimented results were in good agreement with simulated results.

TL;DR: In this paper, a current-tunable current-mode multifunction filter with two inputs and two outputs employing only four dual-output current-controlled conveyors (DO-CCCIIs) and two grounded capacitors is proposed.
Abstract: In this paper, a current-tunable current-mode multifunction filter with two inputs and two outputs employing only four dual-output current-controlled conveyors (DO-CCCIIs) and two grounded capacitors is proposed. By appropriately connecting the input and output terminals, the proposed circuit can provide lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass current responses. The filter also offers an independent electronic control of the natural frequency ( ω o ) and the quality factor ( Q ) through adjusting the bias currents of the DO-CCCIIs. No critical matching conditions are imposed for realizing all the filter responses, and all the incremental parameter sensitivities are low. The characteristics of the proposed circuit are simulated using PSPICE to confirm the theory.

TL;DR: Two low complexity, reconfigurable filter bank architectures for SDR channelizers based respectively on the frequency response masking technique and a novel coefficient decimation technique are reviewed and outperform existing ones in terms of both dynamic reconfigurability and complexity.
Abstract: The ability to support multiple channels of different communication standards, in the available bandwidth, is of importance in modern software defined radio (SDR) receivers. An SDR receiver typically employs a channelizer to extract multiple narrowband channels from the received wideband signal using digital filter banks. Since the filter bank channelizer is placed immediately after the analog-to-digital converter (ADC), it must operate at the highest sampling rate in the digital front-end of the receiver. Therefore, computationally efficient low complexity architectures are required for the implementation of the channelizer. The compatibility of the filter bank with different communication standards requires dynamic reconfigurability. The design and realization of dynamically reconfigurable, low complexity filter banks for SDR receivers is a challenging task. This paper reviews some of the existing digital filter bank designs and investigates the potential of these filter banks for channelization in multi-standard SDR receivers. We also review two low complexity, reconfigurable filter bank architectures for SDR channelizers based respectively on the frequency response masking technique and a novel coefficient decimation technique, proposed by us recently. These filter bank architectures outperform existing ones in terms of both dynamic reconfigurability and complexity.
