TL;DR: In this article, the rheological behavior of fly ash samples collected from a thermal power plant has been investigated over a range of volumetric solids concentration in shear rate range of 10−200 s−1.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of the reinforcement volume fraction on the dry sliding wear behavior of Al-10Si/SiC p composites produced by vacuum infiltration technique was investigated, and the results showed that the wear mechanism was oxidation at low load levels and adhesion and delamination at high load levels in the composite having low volume fraction of reinforcement.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the viscoelastic properties of soybean protein isolate gels with various volume fractions of oil droplets and found that the fracture strain did not depend on the volume fraction of oil.

TL;DR: The leveling effect of polarization is shown to be significant as discussed by the authors, and the resulting nonuniformity in current distribution and the increase in over-all resistance is characterized by a single dimensionless parameter which incorporates the key process variables.
Abstract: Volume fraction of gases in electrolyzers increases in the direction of net movement of gases, causing a corresponding variation in the ohmic resistance between electrodes. The resulting nonuniformity in current distribution and the increase in over‐all resistance is shown to be characterized by a single dimensionless parameter which incorporates the key process variables. The leveling effect of polarization is shown to be significant.
