TL;DR: In this article, the white of hen's eggs condensed to, e.g., 1/1,000 by heating in an amount of 60vol% is mixed with 5-15vol% each of methanol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol and n-hexane to obtain the ink for printing a watermark.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a watermark semi-permanently maintained in a clear state and not blurred even when being wetted with water, by a method wherein a material obtained by mixing an alcohol such as methanol with condensed albumen in a specified ratio is used as an ink for printing a watermark. CONSTITUTION:The white of hen's eggs condensed to, e.g., 1/1,000 by heating in an amount of 60vol% is mixed with 5-15vol% each of methanol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol and n-hexane to obtain the ink for printing a watermark. The watermark printed by using the ink is excellent in light resistance, heat resistance or the like, and new printing or the like can be easily performed.
