TL;DR: In this article, a multi-user remote parallel computation system consisting of a web server, application server, database server, a parallel computer group and network connection switching equipment is presented, and the requirements of the mode calculation of the power system on functions and performances of a computer software system and the need for relatively flexible updating and maintenance of the system are comprehensively considered.
Abstract: The invention belongs to the field of power systems, and particularly relates to a multi-user remote parallel computation system. The multi-user remote parallel computation system comprises a WEB server, an application server, a database server, a parallel computer group and network connection switching equipment, wherein the WEB server, the application server, the database server and the parallel computer group are respectively connected with the network connection switching equipment. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, the design scheme that the software system adopts 'concentrated storage, data sharing, remote maintenance, cooperation and component integration' as the predominant idea while meeting the requirements of 'practicability, modularization, integrity and expandability' is determined, and the requirements of the mode calculation of the power system on functions and performances of a computer software system and the need for relatively flexible updating and maintenance of the system are comprehensively considered. According to the multi-user remote parallel computation system provided by the utility model, the reliability and the mode calculation working efficiency of power grid data are comprehensively improved.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method and system for the scheduled capturing of web content from a web server includes a capturing server establishing a link with a client device and receiving over the link from the client device a set of indications for web content to capture and schedule information for capturing the web content.
Abstract: A method and system for the scheduled capturing of web content from a web server includes a capturing server establishing a link with a client device and receiving over the link from the client device a set of indications for web content to capture and schedule information for capturing the web content. The method further includes performing, in accordance with the schedule information, establishing a network connection with the web server hosting a web resource of the indicated web content, receiving the web resource over the network connection from the web server without the web resource being routed through the client device, and capturing the web resource as a set of images of the web resource loaded into a web browser executing on the capturing server.

TL;DR: A web server has been developed for computing the size of DNA/protein fragments from their electrophoretic mobilities using a graphical method based on the computer program DNASIZE based on DNA marker data and hyperbolic interpolation formula over the entire range.
Abstract: A web server has been developed for computing the size of DNA/protein fragments from their electrophoretic mobilities using a graphical method. This server is based on the computer program DNASIZE (Raghava 1994). It uses DNA marker data and selects the semilogarithmic linear range (slrange), i.e., linear portion of the semilogarithmic curve (mobility vs. log of DNA fragment length). Over this range, a least-squares interpolation is derived for calculating the size of DNA fragments whose mobility falls in sl-range. The program derives hyperbolic interpolation formula over the entire range for determining the size of DNA fragments whose mobility is beyond the semilogarithmic linear range. This server can also be used to compute the size of proteins or polypeptides from SDSPAGE. This web server utilizes a CGI program written in Perl and Javascript, which makes the server live and interactive (imtech.res.in/raghava/dnasize/).

TL;DR: A new phishing detection method, which is based on the analysis of legitimate Website server log information, that is effective and has high accuracy.
Abstract: In this paper, we introduce a new phishing detection method, which is based on the analysis of legitimate website server log information. The idea is based on finding the references. Because of the references, every time the victim opens phishing website, the phishing website will refer to the legitimate website by asking for resources. Then, there is a log, which is recorded by the legal website server. Through analyzing the logs, we find the phishing websites. The idea is specific and very targeted. According to our experiments, it is effective and has high accuracy.

TL;DR: A new visitation algorithm, logarithmic divide-and-conquer (LDAC), for identifying malicious web pages is proposed, an enhanced version of the existing binary divide- and- Conquer (BDAC) algorithm.
Abstract: Drive-by-download attacks are client-side attacks that originate from web servers that are visited by web browsers. While many web browsers are vulnerable to the drive-by-download attacks, the cost of detecting malicious web pages that launch drive-by-download attacks is expensive. High-interaction client honeypots are security devices capable of detecting malicious web pages; however, their slow and expensive operations in web page visiting have been considered as a problem. The high-interaction client honeypots employ a visitation algorithm to pinpoint which page has made an unauthorized change of system state when any unauthorized change of the system state occurred after visiting suspicious web pages. To improve the performance of the high-interaction client honeypots, we propose a new visitation algorithm, logarithmic divide-and-conquer (LDAC), for identifying malicious web pages. The LDAC algorithm is an enhanced version of the existing binary divide-and-conquer (BDAC) algorithm. If any system state is abnormally changed after having visited k suspicious web pages concurrently, our LDAC algorithm divides the buffer of k pages into [log2k] pieces and recursively visits the pieces until the malicious page or pages are identified, while the BDAC splits the buffer into k/2 portions. Experimental results show that the LDAC has improved performance of the system up to 15 percent compared to the BDAC algorithm.
