Abstract: This study examines the role of human resources practice in enhancing work-life balance and engagement. We try to identify how are employees manage their work and life with the help of an organization to achieve stronger engagement. Data obtained by distributing a questionnaire to 200 employees from a private hospital in Banyuwangi. The collection of the questionnaire took 45 days and we have 113 useable responses. The technique used is mediation analysis using bootstrapping analysis. The results showed there is a positive effect of human resource practice on work-life balance. Both variables have a positive effect on employee engagement. Through the mediation analysis, it is known that work-life balance acts as mediation in the relationship between human resource practices and the level of employee involvement. Future studies can expand the participants from other hospitals in Banyuwangi or East Java.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of work life balance and work stress on performance with job satisfaction as a moderating variable for employees at the Ministry of Religion Office of South Tapanuli Regency. The population in this study were 58 people. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling. The data analysis tool uses SPSS. The results of the analysis show that Work Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. Job stress has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. Work Life Balance has a positive but significant effect on performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. Job stress has a positive and significant effect on performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. Job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect on performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. The direct effect of Work Life Balance on performance is greater than the indirect effect of Work Life Balance on performance. The direct effect of work stress on performance is smaller than the indirect effect of work stress on performance.

Abstract: Employee performance is often used as a benchmark for a company's success. Employee performance is particularly important in socio-economic crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, when habitual working conditions change and are limited. This study aims to examine the effect of work from home, work-life balance and job satisfaction on employee performance of employees. The number of respondents in this study was 141 respondents. All respondents were employees of PT X company who were selected by a simple random sampling method. This research uses a quantitative approach: the data for analyze the relationship between variables expressed by numbers or a numerical scale. Research data was obtained from the results of filling out the questionnaire. The questionnaire developed consisted of 37 statements: 11 statements for the employee performance variable, 7 statements for the work from home variable, 8 statements for the work-life balance variable, and 11 statements for the job satisfaction variable. The research data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the help of the AMOS version 23 program. The results of this study show that work from home has a positive and significant effect on work-life balance, job satisfaction and employee performance. Work-life balance also positively and significantly impacts employee performance, while job satisfaction does not affect employee performance.
