TL;DR: In this paper, a preparation method of a pH-stable xanthene dye fluorescent probe was presented, which has the advantages of good pH stability and light stability, relatively good water solubility and good cell membrane permeability.
Abstract: The invention discloses a preparation method of a pH-stable xanthene dye fluorescent probe. Compared with seminaphtho fluorescein and seminaphthorhodamine type fluorescent dyes, the seminaphthorhodamine type xanthene fluorescent probe material has stable pH fluorescence opening effects in a water phase under different pH conditions due to limitation of a self conjugated system structure, and the xanthene fluorescent dye can be used for preparing a xanthene dye hydrazine derivative for detecting mercury ions. The pH-stable xanthene dye fluorescent probe disclosed by the invention has the advantages of good pH stability and light stability, relatively good water solubility and good cell membrane permeability. Moreover, the hydroxyl position of the xanthene dye and the carboxyl position of the spiro lactone can be easily modified to generate biology-related tracers; the derivative with the hydroxyl position modified by hydrazine has remarkable selective recognition performance for mercury, and can be used as a mercury detecting fluorescent probe very well.

TL;DR: A simple and efficient method for the synthesis of spiro[indoline-3,9′-xanthene]trione derivatives by means of condensation between isatins and 1,3-cyclohexanedione in the presence of a catalytic amount of magnesium perchlorate at 80 °C in 50% aqueous ethanol medium is described.
Abstract: A simple and efficient method for the synthesis of spiro[indoline-3,9'-xanthene]trione derivatives by means of condensation between isatins and 1,3-cyclohexanedione in the presence of a catalytic amount of magnesium perchlorate at 80 °C in 50% aqueous ethanol medium has been described. Notably, the present method offers desirable advantages of good yields, simplicity of workup procedure, easy purification, and reduced reaction times.

TL;DR: In this article , a new Mn-based metal-organic framework [UoB-6] was obtained via a one-step ultrasonic irradiation method with the ligand (H2bdda: 4,4'-(1,4-phenylenebis(azaneylylidene))bis(methaneyly lidene)dibenzoic acid).
Abstract: In this paper, a new Mn-based metal-organic framework [UoB-6] was obtained via a one-step ultrasonic irradiation method with the ligand (H2bdda: 4,4'-(1,4-phenylenebis(azaneylylidene))bis(methaneylylidene))dibenzoic acid. The structural integrity of the synthesized BioMOF-Mn was corroborated by FT-IR, EDX, ICP, XRD, TEM, DLS, FESEM, and BET-BJH analyses. The aerobic oxidative domino reaction of benzyl alcohols or aldehydes with dimedone derivatives was performed in the presence of the UoB-6 catalyst to produce xanthene derivatives in good yields. Hot filtration and Hg poisoning tests proved the heterogeneous nature of the catalyst. Novel synthesized xanthene-based bis-aldehydes were introduced as potent HDAC1 inhibitors according to molecular docking calculations. Finally, the inhibitory activities of Mn-MOF nanoparticles were evaluated on Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. The MIC, MBC, and MFC values were determined from 2048 to 4096 μg·mL-1 according to antimicrobial susceptibility testing methods. The inhibitory effects of antimicrobial agents can be exacerbated when loaded on BioMOFs.
