TL;DR: The structures of GS-4, EQ-7, and -8 have been determined to be (4R,4aS, 9aR)-1,9a-dihydronidulalin A, and 9-hydroxymicroperfuranone, respectively, and the six other metabolites have been identified.
Abstract: Five metabolites tentatively called GS-1 (1)-5 (5) from Gelasinospora santi-florii, and four tentatively called EQ-4 (6), EQ-6 (7)-8 (9) together with 1-4 from Emericella quadrilineata have been isolated in a screening study on immunomodulatory fungal constituents. Among these nine metabolites, EQ-7 and 8 have been unknown. This time, the structures of GS-4 which has previously been isolated, EQ-7, and -8 have been determined to be (4R,4aS,9aR)-1,9a-dihydronidulalin A (4), (4S,4aR,9aR)-4a-carbomethoxy-1,4,4a,9a-tetrahydro-4,8-dihydroxy-6-methylxanthone (8), and 9-hydroxymicroperfuranone (9), respectively, and the six other metabolites have been identified. On bioassay, a dihydroxanthone, nidulalin A (1), a hexaketide, sordarial (5), and a xanthone, pinselin (7) have displayed significant immunosuppressive activities. The structure-activity relationships of these constituents have also been discussed.

TL;DR: Cudratricusxanthone H, macluraxanthone B, two xanthones previously isolated from this plant, and 5, showed significant inhibitory effects on four kinds of human digestive apparatus tumor cell lines with IC50 values of 2.70–12.66 μM.
Abstract: Further phytochemical investigation on the roots of Cudrania tricuspidata afforded a new isoprenylated xanthone, cudratricusxanthone I (1), two new isoprenylated flavanones, cudraflavanones C and D (2 and 3, resp.), and seven known compounds, 1,7-dihydroxy-3,6-dimethoxyxanthone (4), macluraxanthone C (5), cudraxanthones E, K, and L (6, 7, and 8, resp.), cudraflavanone A (9), and cudraflavone C (10). Their structures were identified by spectroscopic methods. Cudratricusxanthone H (12), macluraxanthone B (13), two xanthones previously isolated from this plant, and 5, showed significant inhibitory effects on four kinds of human digestive apparatus tumor cell lines (HCT-116, SMMC-7721, SGC-7901, and BGC-823) with IC50 values of 2.70-12.66 microM.

TL;DR: Three new citrinin analogues, penicitols A-C, and one new xanthone derivative, penixanacid A, together with four known biogenetically related compounds, were discovered from the extract of a mangrove-derived fungus, Penicillium chrysogenum HND11-24.
Abstract: Three new citrinin analogues, penicitols A-C (1-3), and one new xanthone derivative, penixanacid A (4), together with four known biogenetically related compounds (5-8), were discovered from the extract of a mangrove-derived fungus, Penicillium chrysogenum HND11-24. The structures of penicitols A-C and penixanacid A were established through analysis of extensive spectroscopic data. Their cytotoxic activity against HeLa, BEL-7402, HEK-293, HCT-116, and A549 cell lines was evaluated.
