Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal conductivity measurement of methanol-based nanofluids with Al2O3 and SiO2 nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this article, the thermal conductivity of methanol-based nanofluids with Al 2 O 3 and SiO 2 nanoparticles was measured using an ultrasonic equipment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Review on combined heat and mass transfer characteristics in nanofluids

TL;DR: In this article, a review of the previous literature on mass transfer enhancement in nanofluids is presented, and the authors suggest that future research on combined heat and mass transfer needs to focus on five main directions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mass transfer enhancement by binary nanofluids (NH3/H2O + Ag nanoparticles) for bubble absorption process

TL;DR: In this article, mono silver nanoparticles were used to prepare binary nanofluids (NH 3 /H 2 O binary mixture with Ag nanoparticles) for application in a bubble absorber.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aggregation based model for heat conduction mechanism in nanofluids

TL;DR: In this article, a new mathematic model for heat conduction of nanofluid is developed based on the experimental findings and the maximum deviation is obtained to be 1.52% for SiO 2 nano-fluid.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal conductivity enhancement of Al2O3 nanofluids based on the mixtures of aqueous NaCl solution and CH3OH

TL;DR: In this paper, the methanol (CH3OH)-based Al2O3 nanofluids are prepared for application of the CO2 removal system and the suspension stability and thermal characterizations are estimated by the Tyndall effect and by measuring the thermal conductivity of the nanoflids.
