Diversity and Multiplexing Tradeoff in General Fading Channels
TL;DR: The optimal tradeoff between diversity gain and multiplexing gain for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels has been studied recently under the independently identically distributed Rayleigh fading assumption and the results are extended and derived.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Diversity and Multiplexing Tradeoff in General Fading Channels
TL;DR: The optimal tradeoff between diversity gain and multiplexing gain for multiple-inputmultiple-output (MIMO) channels has been studied recently and the optimal tradeoffs are derived for generalized fading channel conditions, including different fading types, nonidentical fading distributions, spatial correlation, and nonzero channel means.
Journal ArticleDOI
Achievable Performance of Orthogonal STBC Over Spatially Correlated Rician Channels
TL;DR: The results show that, in correlated fading, the phase vector phi of the channel line-of-sight (LOS) components affects the effective Rice K-factor at the OSTBC receiver output and may result in a coding gain that is significantly higher than that for independent Rician MIMO channels.
Journal ArticleDOI
MmWave relay systems with robust hybrid transceiver designs under correlated channel estimation errors
TL;DR: In this article , the authors proposed a robust hybrid transceiver design based on imperfect channel estimations, where an alternating algorithm is proposed to solve the fully digital processors by utilizing the relationship between the maximization of the upper bound of the averaged mutual information and the weighted minimum mean squared error problem.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dual-spectrum resource allocation for coexisting LTE-advanced and Wi-Fi systems with imperfect channel state information
Lei Zhao,Wenjie Zhang,Ming Jiang +2 more
TL;DR: In this article , a stochastic mixed-integer non-linear programming (MINLP) problem is formulated to maximize the expected sum-rate (ESR) of the system, where the original problem is transformed to a deterministic MINLP problem by employing an analytic approximation.
