Journal ArticleDOI

Organometallic chemistry of the transition metals XXIII. Some indenyl and fluorenyl derivatives of manganese carbonyl

TL;DR: In this article, the infrared and proton NMR spectra of the new compounds are discussed and compared with those of the corresponding h 5 -indenyl derivatives. But they are not shown to be monosubstituted, unlike C 13 H 9 Mn(CO) 2 P(C 6 H 5 ) 3 and C 9 H 7 Mn( CO) 2 E(CoHs)3 (E = P, As, or Sb), respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pentamethylcyclopentadienyl derivatives of transition metals : V. Some pentamethylcyclopentadienyl and isopropenyl-tetramethylcyclopentadienyliron carbonyl derivatives

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that isopropenyltetramethylcyclopentadienyl (Isopropenyl) can react with Fe(CO)5 in boiling 2,2,5-trimethylhexane to give the isopropyltetramer methylcyclopentadiene derivative (CH3CCH2)(CH3)4C5Fe(CO).
Journal ArticleDOI

Pentamethylcyclopentadienyl derivatives of transition metals : III. Some reactions of pentamethylcyclopentadienyl-metal carbonyl derivatives of cobalt and manganese☆

TL;DR: In this article, some reactions of (CH3)5C5Co(CO)2 and (CH 3)5Mn(CO)-3 are described and some spectroscopic properties of these new compounds are given.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions of alkali metal derivatives of metal carbonyls

TL;DR: The reaction of 1,2-dibromobenzocyclobutene with NaFe(CO) 2 C 5 H 5 in tetrahydrofuran solution gives the deep yellow bimetallic derivatives C 8 H 6 Fe(CO)-C 5H 5 ] 2.
