Spin-spin and spin-orbit potentials from lattice gauge theory

TL;DR: In this paper, the spin-spin and spin-orbit potentials from lattice gauge theory simulations for the pure gauge sector with both SU(2) and SU(3) colour groups were evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Static potentials from pure SU(2) lattice gauge theory

TL;DR: In this paper, the potentials between static fundamental colour sources corresponding to the ground state and a number of excited states of the gluon field are studied through a Monte Carlo simulation of SU(2) lattice gauge theory with a technique involving blocked paths of spatial links.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heavy quark potentials and hybrid mesons from SU(3) lattice gauge theory

TL;DR: In this paper, the potentials between heavy quarks are evaluated in SU(3) lattice guage theory using a combined variational and multihit technique, together with the first gluonic excited mode which is relevant to hybrid mesons.
Journal ArticleDOI

Static potentials and scaling in SU(2) lattice gauge theory

TL;DR: In this article, the SU(2) color potential between static fundamental colour sources was determined using variational and multi-hit techniques. But the results for the potential are consistent with scaling between the β-values 2.3, 2.4 and 2.575 where the lattice spacing is relatively small.
