A Mixed‐Valence and Mixed‐Spin Molecular Magnetic Material: [MnIIL]6[MoIII(CN)7][MoIV(CN)8]2⋅19.5 H2O

TL;DR: Long-range ferromagnetic ordering at 3 K is observed for the title compound, which may be considered as a fully localized mixed-valence species as well as a mixed-spin species (low-spin and high-spin Mn(2+) ions).
Journal ArticleDOI

Hepta/octa cyanomolybdates with Fe2+: influence of the valence state of Mo on the magnetic behavior

TL;DR: Two FeII-based molybdenum polycyanides, Fe2[MoIII(CN)7]·8H2O and [Fe2(H 2O)4][MoIV(CN),8]·4H2Os, have been synthesized as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Example of a single trans-azido-bridged Mn(II) chain: synthesis, structural and magnetic characteristics

TL;DR: In this paper, a trans coordinated 1-D μ1,3-azido-Mn(II) chain compound of the formula [mn(L)(N3)PF6]n (L=2,13-dimethyl-3,6,9,12,18-pentaazabicyclo{12.3.1}octadeca-1,(18),2, 12, 14, 16-pentaaene) is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ein gemischtvalentes molekulares magnetisches Material mit gemischtem Spin: [MnIIL]6[MoIII(CN)7][MoIV(CN)8]2⋅19.5 H2O

TL;DR: In this article, a ferromagnetische Fernordnung bei 3 K weist die Titelverbindung auf, die sowohl als eine vollstandig lokalisiert gemischtvalente Spezies (Mo3+ and Mo4+) wie auch als a spezies with gemischten Spins (Lowspin- and High-spin-Mn2+Ionen) beschrieben werden kann.
Journal ArticleDOI

[Mn(tacn)]2Mo(CN)7·5H2O: a 90 K ferromagnet

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of the compound [Mn(tacn)]2[Mo(CN)7]·5H2O, another addition to the family of MnMo-heptacyanates, was reported.
