Experimental investigations of 60 GHz WLAN systems in office environment

TL;DR: Measurement results demonstrate that the 60 GHz propagation channel is quasioptical in nature and received signal power is obtained through line of sight (LOS) and reflected signal paths of the first and second orders.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dynamic uplink-downlink configuration and interference management in TD-LTE

TL;DR: This article presents a tutorial overview of dynamic uplink-downlink configuration and interference management in time-division Long Term Evolution, including motivations, target deployment scenarios, opportunities and challenges, system requirements, design aspects, and performance evaluations.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Triangular systolic array with reduced latency for QR-decomposition of complex matrices

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a triangular systolic array for large size complex matrices using a three angle complex rotation approach that provides significant reduction of latency (systolic operation time) and makes the upper triangular matrix R has only real diagonal elements.
Proceedings Article

Statistical channel model for 60 GHz WLAN systems in conference room environment

TL;DR: In this article, a methodology of statistical channel modeling for 60 GHz WLAN systems is proposed and a channel model for the office conference room environment is developed, which takes into account the most important properties of the indoor 60 GHz propagation channel such as large propagation loss and necessity to use steerable directional antennas by the WLAN stations, quasi-optical propagation nature, clustering of the channel, and significant impact of the polarization characteristics.
