TL;DR: In this article, the average charged multiplicities found are respectively 5.32 ± 0.13 and 5.89 ± 1.07 in an exposure of the chamber Mirabelle at the Serpukhov accelerator.
Journal ArticleDOI
Negative pion production in proton-proton interactions at 69 GeV/c
V.A. Bumazshnov,P.F. Ermolov,A.S. Fenyuk,E. P. Kistenev,A.M. Moiseev,E.A. Starchenko,E. V. Vlasov,H. Blumenfeld,J. Derre,M. A. Jabiol,A. Leveque,S. Otwinowski,E. Pauli,E.G. Boos,L.A. Sanjko,Nguyen Huu Khanh,J. Quinquard,M. Sene,J. Klugow +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the π − production for pp interactions at 69 GeV/c both in the central and in the fragmentation region were compared to data at lower and higher energies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two body correlations between negative pions in pp interactions at 69 GeV/c
J. Derre,H. Blumenfeld,M. A. Jabiol,A. Leveque,S. Otwinowski,E. Pauli,V. H. Bumazshnov,P.F. Ermolov,E. P. Kistenev,V.I. Nicolaencko,A.M. Moiseev,E. H. Starchenko,E.B. Vlasov,J. Loskiewicz,J. Quinquard,A. M. Touchard,H.H. Kaufmann,J.S. Takibaev,E.G. Boos +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between two π − in pp interactions at 69 GeV/c was investigated in terms of longitudinal and transversal variables and the dominant feature was the existence of a strong short-range positive correlation between the two − in the central region.
