Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of martensite content on the fatigue of a dual-phase steel

TL;DR: In this article, it was found that, while monotonic strength increases continuously with increasing martensite contents, cyclic strength increases only to about 30% of the Martensite content.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of martensite carbon content on the cyclic properties of dual-phase steel

TL;DR: In this article, a series of FeMnC alloys was quenched from 760° and 820°C. This treatment produced dual-phase microstructures in which the carbon contents of the martensite and ferrite phases were held constant while the percent Martensite varied.
