ZnO architectures synthesized by a microwave-assisted hydrothermal method and their photoluminescence properties
A. P. de Moura,Renata C. Lima,Mário Lúcio Moreira,Diogo P. Volanti,J. W. M. Espinosa,Marcelo Ornaghi Orlandi,Paulo S. Pizani,José Arana Varela,Elson Longo +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an efficient microwave-assisted hydrothermal (MAH) method using a cationic surfactant, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), as the structure-directing template was used.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study of the annealing temperature effect on the structural and luminescent properties of SrWO4:Eu phosphors prepared by a non-hydrolytic sol-gel process
Paula F.S. Pereira,A. P. de Moura,I. C. Nogueira,M. V. S. Lima,Elson Longo,P. C. de Sousa Filho,Osvaldo Antonio Serra,Eduardo J. Nassar,Ieda Lúcia Viana Rosa +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of temperature on the structural and luminescent properties of Eu 3+ -doped strontium tungstate oxide (SrWO 4 ) prepared by the non-hydrolytic sol-gel route was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rapid preparation of α-FeOOH and α-Fe2O3 nanostructures by microwave heating and their application in electrochemical sensors
Juliane Z. Marinho,Rodrigo H. O. Montes,A. P. de Moura,Elson Longo,José Arana Varela,Rodrigo A.A. Munoz,Renata C. Lima +6 more
TL;DR: The use of microwave heating allowed iron oxides to be prepared with shorter reaction times when compared to other synthesis methods α-FeOOH nanoplates were incorporated into graphite-composite electrodes, which presented electrocatalytic properties towards the electrochemical oxidation of ascorbic acid in comparison with unmodified electrodes as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of Cu-doping on the structural and optical properties of CaTiO3 powders
Larissa H. Oliveira,A. P. de Moura,F.A. La Porta,I. C. Nogueira,E. C. Aguiar,Thiago Sequinel,Ieda Lúcia Viana Rosa,Elson Longo,José Arana Varela +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of chemical substitution on the structural and optical properties of Cu-doped CaTiO 3 (CTO) polycrystalline powders synthesized by the polymeric precursor method is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improved photoluminescence emission and gas sensor properties of ZnO thin films
D. Berger,A. P. de Moura,Larissa H. Oliveira,W.B. Bastos,F.A. La Porta,Ieda Lúcia Viana Rosa,M. S. Li,Sergio Mazurek Tebcherani,Elson Longo,José Arana Varela +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a comparative study of the influence of pressure-assisted versus ambient pressure thermal annealing on both ZnO thin films treated at 330°C for 32h was performed.
