Formation of an abnormal texture in Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Mn alloy and its effect on mechanical properties by altering extrusion parameters

TL;DR: In this article, the microstructure, texture and mechanical properties of extruded alloys were investigated, where the Mg-8Gd-4Y-1Zn-Mn (wt%) alloys prepared by semi-continuous casting and homogenizing treatment were extruded using different extrusion ratios and subsequent cooling processes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of an abnormal texture in Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Mn alloy and its effect on mechanical properties by altering extrusion parameters

TL;DR: In this article , the microstructure, texture and mechanical properties of extruded alloys were investigated, and the dynamic recrystallization process was promoted by increasing the extrusion ratio, while the static recrystization process is suppressed by subsequent water cooling rather than air cooling.
Journal ArticleDOI

Central venous pressure and acute kidney injury in critically ill patients with multiple comorbidities: a large retrospective cohort study

TL;DR: In this article , a retrospective observational cohort study using data collected from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care (MIMIC)-III open-source clinical database (version 1.4) was performed to determine the association between elevated CVP and acute kidney injury (AKI).
Journal ArticleDOI

Monitoring and evaluation of antibiotic resistance genes in three rivers in northeast China

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper used metagenomic sequencing to analyze the composition of ARGs in selected original habitats of northeast China, comprising three different rivers and riverbank soils of the Heilongjiang River, Tumen River, and Yalu River.
Journal ArticleDOI

Different n-6/n-3 PUFA diets with fish oil attenuated osteoarthritis in ovariectomized mice via targeting the NLRP3 inflammasome

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that FO could attenuate the adverse effect of 20:1 n-6/n-3 PUFA diet on osteoporotic OA, providing skeletal evidence for healthy diet.
