Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and hybridization analysis of DNA/RNA from E. coli on microfabricated bioelectronic chips

TL;DR: In this article, Escherichia coli were separated from a mixture containing human blood cells by means of dielectrophoresis and then subjected to electronic lysis followed by proteolytic digestion on a single microfabricated bioelectronic chip.
Journal ArticleDOI

Detection of Antinuclear Antibodies in Canine Serum by Immunoperoxidase in MDCK and Indirect Immunofluorescence in HEp2 Cells

TL;DR: In this article , an immunoperoxidase (IP) assay was developed to evaluate ANAs in canine sera, using canine kidney cell lines (MDCK) and compared with a commercial immunofluorescence test on Hep2 cells for this system, a fluoresceinated anti-canine Ig antibody was standardized.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Fluorescent imaging of cells and nucleic acids in bioelectronic chips

TL;DR: Efforts toward the construction of a 'laboratory-on- a-chip' system will be presented which involves the selection of DNA probes, dyes, reagents and prototyping of the fully integrated portable instrument.
