Journal ArticleDOI
The redox status in rats treated with flaxseed oil and lead-induced hepatotoxicity.
TL;DR: It can be hypothesized that flaxseed oil is a natural product can be protect against lead acetate-mediated hepatic cytotoxicity, because of its marked improvement in most of the studied parameters as well as histopathological features.
Journal ArticleDOI
The potential role of flaxseed oil on lead acetate- induced kidney injure in adult male albino rats
TL;DR: The possibility of flaxseed oil usefulness in limiting toxicant induced by environmental heavy metals is suggested.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hepatic oxidative stress in Mongolian gerbils experimentally infected with Babesia divergens
Mohamed A. Dkhil,Abdel-Azeem S. Abdel-Baki,Abdel-Azeem S. Abdel-Baki,S. Al-Quraishy,Ahmed E. Abdel-Moneim +4 more
TL;DR: The present data suggest that B. divergens infection could induce cell-cycle alteration following oxidative stress and DNA damage in hepatic tissue, and further work is required to investigate the mechanism by which this liveratic tissue damage takes place.
Journal ArticleDOI
Expression and clinical significance of SNAI1 and ZEB1 genes in acute myeloid leukemia patients.
Wafaa Ghoneim Shousha,Shimaa S Ramadan,Abeer Salah El-Saiid,Ahmed E. Abdel-Moneim,Marwa Ahmed Abbas +4 more
TL;DR: The findings of this study suggest inclusion of SNAI1 and ZEB1 genes expression in the cluster of potential genetic biomarkers to be studied in AML cases as diagnostic and prognostic markers.
