An image-forming device has a plurality of cylindrical image-carrying members, and an optical scanning unit. The plurality of cylindrical image-carrying members is provided in a main casing for rotating about respective rotational axes. The rotational axes are parallel to one another and juxtaposed in a single direction. The optical scanning unit is provided in the main casing and has a plurality of laser generators, a single rotatable polygon mirror, a plurality of mirrors, and a plurality of lenses. The plurality of laser generators is provided one-to-one relationship to the plurality of image-carrying members to emit respective laser beams. The single rotatable polygon mirror deflects the respective laser beams to scan the respective image-carrying members therewith. The plurality of mirrors is provided one-to-one relationship to the plurality of image-carrying members to guide the respective laser beams along respective optical paths to the respective image-carrying members. The plurality of lenses is provided one-to-one relationship to the plurality of image-carrying members and provided in the respective optical paths and between the respective mirrors and the respective image-carrying members. Distances from the respective mirrors to the respective image-carrying members being equal to one another.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a paddy field working machine by giving many functions to a variable-speed lever of a stepless variable-speed gear to ensure the other operations in association with its travel variable-speed operation to be lightly and swiftly made without shifting lever gripping.SOLUTION: The paddy field working machine is constructed as follows: the variable-speed lever 11 and a speed control mechanism 25 are coordinatedly linked to each other so that the speed control mechanism 25 is operated to a higher-rotation side as the variable-speed lever 11 is operated from its neutral position N to a higher-speed position side in an advancing variable-speed operation path F; the advancing variable-speed operation path F and a reversely advancing variable-speed operating path R are mutually connected in parallel to each other and are deviated in a different-level manner; and a sub-advancing variable-speed operating path F' which is transferrable by a straight-line moving operation to an advancing direction succeeding from the neutral position N(r) of the reversely advancing variable-speed operating path R is collocated on the lateral side of the lower-speed region portion of the advancing variable-speed operation path F.

Paddy field working machine

A multilayer, heat shrinkable composite tube covering 120 is provided for a cable joint structure in which intimately joined layers define a semiconductive inner conductor shield 112, an insulation layer 114, and an outer insulation shield 116. Furthermore, a highly resistive semiconducting layer 111 is provided over the joint under the innermost layer 112 of the composite tube, forming a dual layer conductor shield for the joint. In the preferred embodiment, the entire composite tube is pressure extruded in a common operation and all three layers are simultaneously chemically cured and cooled, under pressure to provide the intimately joined layers of the composite tube. Subsequently, when the tube is shrunk over the joint the three layers shrink as a unit, so that there is no possibility of trapping impurities or gas bubbles between layers.

Electrical cable joint structure and method of manufacture

PURPOSE: To prevent the disturbance of external noise by setting a cylindrical conductive member fitted with a bottom, wherein an antenna constituting slot in the direction crossing the conductor inside a vessel at right angles, in the opening of the vessel of a gas insulation equipment. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical conductive member 6 fitted with a bottom is set in the tubular part 4 of the opening 3 formed in the duct vessel 1 into which gas for insulation is changed. The cylindrical member 6 fitted with a bottom 6 is equipped with an antenna constituting slot 7 in the direction crossing the high voltage conductor 2 inside the duct vessel 1, and therein projections 8 and 8 are formed in the vicinity of the center on both sides of the slot 7, and the top of a coaxial cable 9 is connected as a power supply point to the antenna. The bottom of the cylindrical member 6 fitted with a bottom is covered with a cover 10 made of conductive member, and the coaxial cable 9 is led out to the outside through the coaxial sealed terminal base 12 provided in the cover 10, and the lead wire 13 connected to the cylindrical member 6 fitted with a bottom is led out to the outside through the sealed terminal base 14 of the cover 10. Hereby, electromagnetic waves generated by the corona discharge due to inferior insulation of the duct 1 can be monitored accurately without being obstructed by external noise. PURPOSE:To measure the partial discharge generating position of a cable without generating a measuring error, by determining direct wave arrival time difference by a measuring cable and an auxiliary cable connected to said cable at the other terminal through a coupling condenser and having the same standard and length as said cable. CONSTITUTION:The other terminal of a main cable 1 equipped with a joint 8, across which impedance changes, is connected to an auxiliary cable 9 having the same standard and length as the main cable 1 through a coupling condenser 10. When high voltage is applied to the core wire 1a and the insulator 1b of the cable 1 from one terminal thereof, partial discharge is generated at the dielectric breakdown point A between said one terminal and the joint 8 and the high voltage pulse reflected from the point A directly reaches to said one terminal at first and detected through a condenser 4, a detection impedance 5 and an amplifier 6 and memory 14 is triggered. In addition, the direct wave corresponding to the reflective wave from the other terminal of the cable 1 through the cable 9 is detected through an amplifier 13 and stored in the memory 14 and the measurement of a partial discharge position without a measuring error is performed on the basis of the detection time interval of both direct waves without exerting influence upon the reflective wave from the joint 8.

Method of measuring partial discharge of electric cable and its device

PURPOSE:To locate the breakdown point of the cable simply and to investigate the cause of the breakdown correctly, by inputting a gas into a conductor at one end of the cable, the other end of which is sealed by pressure, and detecting the gas leaking out of the breakdown hole. CONSTITUTION:When the gas such as compressed air is inputted into an input port 6 in an L type cap 7 by pressure, the gas passes through the gap between stranded wires of the conductor 2, reaches the breakdown point X, and leaks into the water through the breakdown point. Therefore, by detecting the leaked gas, the breakdown point of the cable can be readily detected. The detection of the leaked gas is performed by an ultrasonic microphone. It is also detected by sensing bubbles. The breakdown point of the cableis is located by forcibly inputting the gas from the conductor at one end of the cable, the other end of which is sealed. Therefore the breakdown point can be readily located by sensing the gas leaked from the breakdown point.
