Women safety is a very important issue due to rising crimes against women these days. Presently there is indeed no good solution to this problem. The existing applications and devices are not much effective as they need lot of human interaction to operate. These existing devices use to read the human temperature and heartbeat to generate alarm in case of emergency. When a person runs, every human may have different body temperature and heartbeat pattern and thus keeping a fixed threshold for finding out emergency situation and then generating alarm is not correct way and this is where the existing devices are failing to correctly generate alarm in case of emergency. In this paper the devices are customized to learn the individual pattern of temperature and heartbeat and then it finds out the threshold for generating alarm. Thus this paper deals to design a wearable women safety device that automatically reads and create patterns such as body temperature and pulse rate during running. If readings are higher than the normal readings then it will automatically call and message more than one person along with the location so that actions can be taken. We have used temperature and pulse sensors that will detect the activity of the woman and that data of sensors will be sent to cloud where machine learning algorithm (logistic regression) is applied to analyse the data generated. The data is first collected by sensors in non-danger conditions to train the algorithm, after that data is used for testing to gauge the accuracy and how close it is to our trained data. More is the accuracy more is the surety of danger and the emergency alarm will be there on emergency contacts. Thirdly, this paper deals with scenarios where there is no internet facility. To overcome the problem of internet we have used ZigBee mesh network, which helped the device to send the data to multiple hop distance.

Women Safety Device Designed Using IoT and Machine Learning

In the global scenario, women’s safety is a crucial problem. The security of women has become a greater challenge to many families in their daily life, hence a system is developed using rapidly growing technologies to address this problem. This paper mainly focuses on an IoT based self-security system that is comfortable, easy to use and wearable, and helps to share the user location when they feel panic and also help to find the nearest safe place. The designed system is user friendly and it can be accessed only by a specific person. The system is controlled through raspberry pi, and it has two different modes namely normal mode and security mode. In normal mode, user can register their fingerprint, and in security mode, the fingerprint sensor acts as a panic button, and when a fingerprint is detected system shares the location and captures the photo of the culprit and stores it in the cloud. The machine learning algorithm gets the user location as input and predicts the nearest safe place location.

Smart Safety and Security Solution for Women using kNN Algorithm and IoT

In the Modern World, women are no longer considered as the minor group. They share the same power, privileges, rights, and opportunities as men. They have been excelled in many fields and contributing to the development of the entire globe. But, in many developing and under developed countries, still women community has not raised up, specifically due to the challenges they face in terms of unethical physical harassment from the society. This paper presents a comprehensive survey on design and application approaches in women safety systems. There are many promising technologies relied on women security systems using IoT, Embedded, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Reality, android Mobile apps etc. We have undergone with a comparative analysis of such techniques and open research issues that would enable the researchers to design a complete women security system for the beneficial of the entire women community in global level.

This project present the progress in using the alcohol detector, a device that senses a change in the alcoholic gas content of the surrounding air these device is more commonly referred to as a breath analysis, as it analysis the alcohol content from person’s breath. Women safety device

The advancement of sensing technologies, wireless communication technologies and miniaturization makes it possible to develop smart systems and necessary help can be provided in times of emergency. For this purpose there is need to have a system that would help human to alert their dear ones in case of emergency. The main objective of the project is to design an Emergency System for Human being to make their life easier and secure also. The first part in this system consists of a button which can be pressed by the human, when human is in problem or when a person feels insecure. As the button is pressed by the person, the ATmega328 microcontroller gets the command and with the help of GPS module sends emergency message using GSM to the registered mobile number. In Second part a pulse sensor which senses the pulses of a person if the pulses rise above the threshold level then the emergency message is send. In the last part, to make this system more efficient and reliable we are using a voice module which will design using MATLAB software.
