Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation and surface modification of PVC/SBR heterogeneous cation exchange membrane with silver nanoparticles by plasma treatment
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of deposited nano silver layer thickness on properties of prepared polyvinylchloride (PVC)/Styrene-Butadiene-Rubber (SBR) blend heterogeneous cation exchange membranes was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Residual stress and structural characteristics in Ti and Cu sputtered films on glass substrates at different substrate temperatures and film thickness
TL;DR: In this paper, the relation between stress in these films and the processes in film growth through structure zone model is explained, and the components of the stress tensor are obtained using measurements at three different ϕ angles of 0, 45° and 90° by proposed technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation and characterization of PVC based heterogeneous ion exchange membrane coated with Ag nanoparticles by (thermal-plasma) treatment assisted surface modification
Sayed Mohsen Hosseini,Sayed Siavash Madaeni,Akbar Zendehnam,Abdolreza Moghadassi,A.R. Khodabakhshi,Hamidreza Sanaeepur +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of treating temperature on separation characteristics of coated membranes was studied and the results showed that membrane rugosity increasing by the increase of the treating temperature, while membrane resistance showed opposite trend.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fabrication of polyvinylchloride based nanocomposite thin film filled with zinc oxide nanoparticles: Morphological, thermal and optical characteristics
TL;DR: PVC-co-ZnO nanocomposite film was prepared by solution casting technique with different concentration of zinc oxide nanoparticle in polymeric matrix and X-ray diffraction showed polycrystalline structure with no preferred orientation as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrochemical, morphological and antibacterial characterization of PVC based cation exchange membrane modified by zinc oxide nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this paper, mixed matrix polyvinylchloride based heterogeneous cation exchange membranes were prepared by solution casting technique and Zinc oxide nanoparticle was also utilized as additive in membrane fabrication.
