PURPOSE: To obtain a working method for easily and effectively controlling the wall thickness of an inner bead to an arbitrary desired thickness by abutting a bead forming tool on the circumferential wall of a metallic pipe while a compressive force is imparted to the pipe in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION: A mandrel 4, 5 is inserted into both sides of a pipe 1 with a prescribed space 6 apart between the tip ends of the mandrels 4, 5. Then, while the pipe 1 is rotated with a compressive force imparted to the pipe 1 in the axial direction, a roll 7 as a bead forming tool is abutted on the outer circumference of the pipe 1. Thus, the circumferential wall of the pipe 1 is deformed continuously without interruption to the inward side of the space 6 between the tip ends of the mandrels 4, 5. The compressive force is continuously imparted to the pipe 1 in the axial direction, from the start to the end of the working of the inner bead 2 by the roll 7 on the circumferential wall of the pipe 1. The ratio of thinning the wall thickness of the bead 2 is improved more with a larger compressive force.

The invention discloses a pipe part manufacturing method of a membrane disc coupler. The pipe part manufacturing method comprises the following steps that 1) a pipe blank is manufactured, wherein thepipe fitting blank is a round tube; 2) the spinning part of the pipe blank is heated; 3) external spinning and bending is carried out on the pipe blank through a spinning machine, and spinning formingis performed, so that one end of the pipe blank is provided with an annular outer edge part, and an annular bending part is connected to the end part of the annular outer edge part; 4) tempering heattreatment is carried out on the pipe blank for spinning forming; and 5) the pipe blank is cut and formed to obtain a finished product of the pipe part. According the pipe part manufacturing method, the produced membrane disc coupler has the characteristics of being high in repeatability, consistent in structural performance, excellent in comprehensive mechanical properties and the like. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning diameter reduction processing method for performing diameter reduction processing of a metal pipe, in which mouth expansion at a pipe end part which has appeared due to reduction in wall thickness and higher reduction rate in diameter of the metal pipe which is a material as well as shape failure event such as folding wrinkle or cracking which follows the mouth expansion are advantageously prevented, with productivity improved as well.SOLUTION: One pipe end part 10f of a metal pipe is completely fixed and gripped by a fixing clamp 22, while the other pipe end part 10 g is gripped by a movable clamp 23 so as to tolerate rotation around a central axis and translation along axial direction. Under this condition, a roll shape tool 21 is rotated around a central axis 10a of the metal pipe 10 while reciprocated along axial direction of the metal pipe 10, such that only a central part 10c in axial direction of the metal pipe 10 is applied with diameter reduction process. And then, the diameter-reduced portion 10c is cut and divided at a cut line 10b, to provide two components 11, 12 whose pipe end parts have been diameter-reduced, with no occurrence of shape failure.

PURPOSE: To perform the necking of a circular pipe without causing any crack, etc., in a short time by inserting the die to prevent the drawing deformation into the pipe end part of a circular pipe and drawing with a drawing tool the boundary part of the product part and non-product part of the circular pipe with rotating it. CONSTITUTION: The die 1 of a cylindrical shape for checking a necking deformation is inserted into the non-product part P 1 provided at the pipe end part of a circular pipe P and this is held by the chuck 3 to which the end face of the circular pipe P is abutting. The product part P 2 of the above circular pipe P is held by a chuck 2 and the pipe P is rotated by driving it with the above die 1. In this state, the roller 4 freely rotating around a rotary shaft C is pressed to the boundary part B of the above product part P 2 and non-product part P 1 and yet with reciprocatingly moving in the horizontal direction, it is gradually advanced to draw the pipe P of the boundary part B. The pipe P is thereafter cut at the minimum diameter part A of the above necking part, the non- product part P 1 is removed and the product part P 2 whose pipe end part is drawn in the aiming shape is obtd.
