Akira Yamada
TL;DR: In this article, a self-cleaning ignition system for two-cycle engines is described. But it does not address the problem of smolder and electrode contamination, and it cannot guarantee complete combustion of an injected rich mixture of fuel/air in the vicinity of the ignition plug electrodes.

Ignition device for two-cycle engine

Akira Yamada
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed to improve self-cleaning work of a spark plug and prevent smoking and wetting damage of the spark plug, and ignite the dense air-fuel mixture securely for combustion by providing a current break type ignition and a capacity discharge type ignition.
