Journal ArticleDOI

Benzotriazole-Assisted Synthesis of Monoacyl-α-aminoglycines.

TL;DR: Adducts (8,12) derived from benzotriazole (7), glyoxylic ester (6), acid (11), and an amide (5), react with ammonia in a novel, convenient route to monoacylated α-aminoglycines (9,13) useful for the synthesis of peptide analogues as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Benzo‐1,4‐oxathiins and Benzo‐1,4‐dithiins from 4,5‐Disubstituted 1,2,3‐Thiadiazoles.

TL;DR: In this article, 1.4-Aryl(or hetero-aryl)-5-heterosubstituted 1,2,3-thiadiazoles on heating in the presence of sodium hydride undergo ring opening with nitrogen elimination followed by recyclization to form the corresponding 1,4-benzoxathiins and 1, 4 -benzodithiins.
Journal ArticleDOI

Palladium‐Catalyzed Cross‐Coupling Syntheses of Benzotriazolyl Enynes and a General Route to Enynyl Ketones and Alkynyl Ketones.

TL;DR: In this article, a new general route to conjugated enynyl ketones was developed based on a two-step procedure, where a palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of 1-(benzotriazol-1-yl)propargyl ethyl ether (3) and vinyl triflates or vinyl bromides was developed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel Synthesis of α‐Benzotriazolyl‐Substituted Ketones.

TL;DR: In this article, Silyl enol ethers react with 1-chlorobenzotriazole to provide a new general method for the preparation of α-benzotrizolyl-substituted ketones.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Diverse Reactivity of (Benzothiazol-2-ylthio)-(benzotriazol-1-yl) methane.

TL;DR: In this article, the reaction of 2-methylthiobenzothiazole with 1-methylbenzotriazole (2-methyl-2-ylthio) and (benzothiazol-1-yl)-methane with n-propyl iodide was described.
