A Dry Chemical Applicator apparatus, comprising a storage bin hopper adapted to store dry chemicals therein and having a lower dispensing tube, with an operable auger in the tube to deliver such chemicals falling down into the tube in relatively small adjustable predetermined quantities, with the auger operated by a motor controlled by an adjustable timer, and with an operable pivoted hangar shaker bar in the hopper over the auger connected for simultaneous operation with and upon auger operation, for delivery of the dry chemical by the auger for mixing thereof with small grain or ensilage.

The mortar delivery is from a funnel (1), with a large opening (7) at the top to receive mortar (6) and a small opening at the bottom (5) to deliver the mortar into the space between paving stones or slabs. The mortar is delivered by a piston (2) near the outlet of the funnel. Clearance is provided between the piston and the wall of the funnel. The piston is driven in a to-and-fro movement by an electric motor (4) coupled (3) to a crank mechanism (12). Alternatively the motor may drive a cam which imparts the to- and-fro motion. The motor shaft is at an angle to the drive, and is coupled by a ball joint (11) or a bevel gear (16,17).

Delivery of mortar to form joints in paving

The device has a supply duct blocked against a screw head by a threaded rod. A roller (14) is provided at an end of the duct and housed in a cylindrical hole situated in a flange i.e. toothed washer, of a reserve (6) that is in the form of hole. Diversion strips (10) are positioned in peripheral grooves of disks (1), at a height corresponding to an upper part of a calibrated fine section of a viscous and pasty product e.g. cement, to be removed, and prevent the continuation of driving of the product in the grooves. Handles (17) are situated on front and rear plates (8, 9) of the reserve.

THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A MACHINE FOR THE SPREADING OF MORTAR ON MASONARY BUILDING MATERIAL SUCH AS CONCRETE BLOCKS, BRICK, STONE AND THE LIKE. SPECIFICALLY, THE MORTAR SPREADER MACHINE ENCOMPASSES ROLLERS ADAPTED TO BE ROLLED ON A FIRST ROW OF MASONARY MATERIAL. THE ROLLERS IN TURN ARE SECURED TO A HOPPER THAT INCLUDES A FORE AND AFT SPREADER AND MEANS FOR ADVANCING AND FEEDING THE MORTAR FROM THE HOPPER TO THE SPREADER. THE MACHINE IN OPERATION IS PUSHED (ROLLED) ALONG THE ROW OF MASONRY MATERIAL WITH ONE HAND AND THE MORTAR FED TO THE BLOCK BY THE ACTION OF THE OTHER HAND. AS THE MACHINE IS PUSHED, THE MORTAR IS EVENLY AND UNIFORMLY SPREAD ON THE MASONRY MATERIAL.
