Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrahigh-resolution optical coherence elastography

TL;DR: The proposed ultrahigh-resolution optical coherence elastography (UHROCE) is proposed, and 3D imaging of local axial strain of tissues undergoing compressive loading is demonstrated, to demonstrate the mechanical heterogeneity of vascular smooth muscle cells and elastin sheets.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Ultrahigh resolution optical coherence elastography using a Bessel beam for extended depth of field

TL;DR: In this paper, a dual-arm extended focus optical coherence microscope was used to measure tissue displacement under compression, achieving a record resolution (x,y,z) of 2×2×15 μm.
