The article explores the main problems and features of one of the most relevant phenomena today - digital transformation, which implies fundamental changes in the activities of organizations based on the use of digital technologies. The paper reviews sources on the problems of building a digital economy and moving a business to the digital level. The purpose of this study is to identify the main difficulties for the restructuring of organizations' processes on a digital format, as well as the formation of the theoretical and conceptual foundations of digital business transformation in the face of uncertainty and variability of the modern business environment. Using the methods of analysis, generalization, comparison, synthesis, deduction, induction, the essence of digital transformation is studied, Russia's positions among other countries in terms of readiness for the digital economy are analyzed, problems and barriers that impede the process of digital transformation for Russian and foreign companies are formulated. Based on the use of a systematic approach, methods of scientific abstraction, economic modelling, the work identifies the main functional areas of change, presents a loop of digital business transformation that reflects its main stages, necessary components and changes, and describes key segments of new digital business models of companies. The results can be used to conduct further theoretical and methodological and practice-oriented research in the field of digital business transformation, and can also be used by design teams of organizations to analyze the problems of switching to a digital format, develop a digital transformation strategy and rebuild a business model.

Problems of business processes transformation in the context of building digital economy

The article discusses the formation of regional food sub-complexes at the present stage. The continuity of the processes of expanded reproduction along the entire technological chain “production processing sales of final products” is justified in order to stabilize agro-industrial production and increase its competitiveness. The agro-industrial complex in developing countries does not yet ensure food independence, full competition in the food market with manufacturers from more developed countries, and the satisfaction of consumer demand in domestic products, which indicates its low efficiency and the need to increase competitiveness based on its structural adjustment. The global financial crisis creates the prerequisites and creates an objective need to develop priority areas for overcoming it based on the formation of effective market structures and mechanisms with effective state management of the economy through economic leverage. To do this, we should use the internal factors of stabilization and growth in the agro-industrial complex itself: they fully include structural transformations within the framework of integrating agro-industrial sectors into a single reproductive cycle. At the same time, the purpose of agro-industrial specialization of production is to create conditions for increasing the competitiveness of industries on the basis of increasing production volumes, reducing costs, increasing labor productivity, product quality, solving social problems, which has recently been reflected in the implementation of the priority national project “Development of the agro-industrial complex”.

Basic directions for forming perspective forms of agricultural integration

The purpose of the paper is to assess the impact of corporate governance on Vietnam banks’ performance measured by ROA (return on assets) and OER (operating efficiency ratio). The article uses a research method which is a quantitative research method through the construction of a binary Probit model with two aggregate variables, namely Macroeconomic indicators and financial index variables. The results are consistent with prior research findings, and more importantly, presents statistical justification for pursuing further corporate governance reforms to enhance Vietnam banks’ performance. These findings also lay a foundation for policy makers to make necessary changes to improve corporate governance (i.e role of board of directors, shareholder issues) of Vietnam banks in the future. Social Implications: the study used Vietnam listed banks’ financial data collected covering a period 2008 to 2018. The findings indicated that board size, CEO duality and large shareholder had statistically significant effect on bank performance in both ROA (return on assets) and OER (operating efficiency ratio). While institutional shareholders and foreign shareholders made no impact on Vietnam banks’ performance.

It includes personal interest, a creative approach on the part of students, teachers to the study of automotive electronics, a variety of types of educational, pedagogical, technological practice, close communication with the representatives of the small, medium, large businesses. The key to the success of this process is the reliance on the achievements of digital, computer technologies implemented in modern cars, a system analysis of design, scientific ideas, concepts, approaches used in the domestic and foreign automotive industry. Another innovation in the work is the implementation of digital educational resources, technical equipment used at the university, including distance learning, a variety of types, forms of monitoring the results of training of future bachelors, masters of the university. Nowadays, innovation plays an important role not only as a catalyst for the global progress of humanity but also as an additional opportunity for a commercial organization to strengthen its position in markets of any level. For this purpose, an organization must take into account external conditions that can significantly affect the innovation process and the results of innovation. Since innovation is inherently quite complicated in an organization, being a resource-consuming process, it is essential to implement innovative projects following the needs of consumers of innovative products. Therefore, for the implementation of commercially effective innovative projects related to the production and sale of innovative products in the form of goods, works, and services, an important stage is a competitive analysis of the external environment, including the formation of conclusions and recommendations on the practical orientation of applied research and development in the organization to meet community needs. For this purpose, the authors consider the methods of analysis of the external environment. The paper focuses on the presentation of the advantages of applying the PESTEL analysis methodology, which is a modified version of the PEST analysis; the methods of PESTEL analysis for conducting innovative activity are described.
