Journal ArticleDOI

Multivariate optimization methods for in-situ growth of LDH/ZIF-8 nanocrystals on anodized aluminium substrate as a nanosorbent for stir bar sorptive extraction in biological and food samples.

TL;DR: In-situ growth of zeolite imidazolate frameworks on the surface of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) for preparation of porous nanocomposites is a favorable strategy to design potential materials in separation fields and was used in the quantification of PEN G in real samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bakhtiari savory (Satureja bachtiarica Bunge.) essential oil and its chemical profile, antioxidant activities, and leaf micromorphology under green and conventional extraction techniques

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of two extraction techniques, including the traditional hydro-distillation (HD) and microwave-assisted steam hydro-diffusion (MSHD), on some properties of quantity and quality essential oil and the antioxidant activities (DPPH and FRAP assays) of the essential oils and micromorphology of the plant leaves (Scanning Electron Microscopy, SEM) were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

The potential of electrochemistry for one-pot and sensitive analysis of patent blue V, tartrazine, acid violet 7 and ponceau 4R in foodstuffs using IL/Cu-BTC MOF modified sensor.

TL;DR: In this paper, a sensitive sensor was developed based on copper BTC metal-organic framework (Cu-BTC MOF) and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride as an ionic liquid (IL) in an attempt to modify the carbon paste electrode and to improve the active surface area and electric conductivity so that electron transfer is faster for electro analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of novel samarium-doped CuAl2O4 and its photocatalytic performance through the modified sol–gel method

TL;DR: In this article, a samarium-doped cubic phase of copper aluminate nanoparticles (Sm/CuAl2O4) was successfully synthesized by modify sol-gel method with the aid of copper(II) nitrate trihydrate, aluminum nitrate nonahydrate, samarium nitrate hexahydrates, and sucrose without adding external surfactant, capping agent or template.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of barium molybdate nanostructures with the aid of amino acids and investigation of its photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange

TL;DR: In this paper, a large-scale and facile sonochemical method based on the reaction between barium(II) nitrate hexahydrate and (NH4)6Mo7O24·4H2O in an aqueous solution was used to synthesize barium molybdate nanostructures.
