Prediction of kiwifruit firmness using fruit mineral nutrient concentration by artificial neural network (ANN) and multiple linear regressions (MLR)

TL;DR: In this paper, the predictive capabilities of multiple linear regressions (MLR) and artificial neural networks (ANNs) are evaluated to estimate fruit firmness in six months, including each of nutrients concentrations (nitrogen (N), potassium (K), calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg)) alone (P 1 ), combination of nutrients concentration (P 2 ), nutrient concentration ratios alone (p 3 ), and combination of nutrient concentrations and nutrient concentration ratio (P 4 ).
Journal ArticleDOI

A randomized clinical trial to evaluate the usefulness of amniotic membrane transplantation in bacterial keratitis healing.

TL;DR: The early use of amniotic membrane transplantation in treatment of patients with bacterial keratitis was associated with better outcomes compared to antibiotic therapy alone, indicating statistically significant better best corrected visual acuity.
Journal ArticleDOI

The preparation of landslide map by Landslide Numerical Risk Factor (LNRF) model and Geographic Information System (GIS)

TL;DR: In this paper, the main factors affecting landslide occurrence including slope, distance from faults, lithology, elevation and precipitation were prepared and digitized, by using interpretation of aerial photos and satellite images and field views.
Journal Article

Influence of phosphate bio-fertilizer on quantity and quality features of marigold (Tagetes erecta L.).

TL;DR: Results revealed that the application of bio-fertilizer and phosphorus was significant on most characters in 1% probability level, and the interaction effect was not significant on studied characters except for total shoot phosphorus and the number of leaf per plant.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cryopreservation of seeds of lily (Lilium Iedebourii (Baker) Bioss): Use of sucrose and dehydration

TL;DR: Cryopreservation of germplasm at liquid nitrogen (-196°C) is a perfect method for the long-term conservation of plant genetic resources and survival after freezing was nil for control seeds and 75% for seeds treated with sucrose and dehydration.
