TL;DR: The results of this multi-national study on hospitalized patients with Sars-CoV-2 infection indicated an overall stroke risk of 0.5% and the need for mechanical ventilation and the history of ischaemic heart disease are the independent predictors of stroke among SARS-Cov-2 patients.

TL;DR: Acupuncture, botulinum toxin-A injection and pharmacological treatment have beneficial effects on chronic migraine; however, acupuncture showed more effectiveness and fewer complications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mesenchymal stem cells-derived mitochondria transplantation mitigates I/R-induced injury, abolishes I/R-induced apoptosis, and restores motor function in acute ischemia stroke rat model.
Zahra Pourmohammadi-Bejarpasi,Amaneh Mohammadi Roushandeh,Alia Saberi,Mojdeh Kheirandish Rostami,Seyyed Mohammadtaghi Razavi Toosi,Ali Jahanian-Najafabadi,Kazuo Tomita,Yoshikazu Kuwahara,Tomoaki Sato,Mehryar Habibi Roudkenar +9 more
TL;DR: The findings strongly suggest that transplantation of MSCs-derived mitochondria is a suitable, potential and efficient therapeutic option for acute ischemia stroke.
Journal Article
Extraction of astaxanthin esters from shrimp waste by chemical and microbial methods
TL;DR: Results obtained from this study showed that the coolage at –20 oC not only does not have an amplifying effect on the production of astaxanthin but also slightly reduces this effect; and the effect of intervention of lactose sugar showed more effectiveness in producing astaxantin than yeast extract or more than with the presence of both.
Journal ArticleDOI
