Journal ArticleDOI
High-resolution UV spectrum of the benzene—N2 van der Waals complex
TL;DR: The rotationally resolved spectrum of the 610 band of the S1 ← S0 electronic transition of the benzene van der Waals complex has been recorded and 119 transitions assigned as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rare gas matrix studies of absorption and fluorescence of reactive intermediates formed in discharges through acetylene
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple source of transient species combining a self-igniting discharge with a pulsed supersonic expansion was applied to the study of discharges through acetylene, and two types of products detected in neon matrices produced with this source are discussed: simple carbon clusters C n, and polyacetylene radical cations H-(CC) n -H +.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
High‐Resolution UV Spectroscopy of Molecular Complexes
TL;DR: In this article, rotationally resolved vibronic van der Waals bands are used to obtain information on the structure, the rigidity and the intermolecular potential of molecular complexes.
