Book ChapterDOI
The effect of organic matter from brown coal on bioavailability of heavy metals in contaminated soils
TL;DR: In this paper, a brown coal preparation (the "Rekulter") was used as an amendment of soils artificially contaminated with Cd, Pb and Zn, and the highest efficiency of the Rekulter in preventing uptake of zinc, lead and cadmium by plants was observed for the largest dosage of this preparation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Uptake of heavy metals by darnel multifloral (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) at diverse soil reaction and organic matter content
TL;DR: In this article, a brown coal preparation (Rekulter) was applied as the source of organic matter in autumn 1999 to the studied soil, which was contaminated with cadmium, lead and zinc.
Journal ArticleDOI
Geochemistry and Mineralogy of Ice-Dammed Lake Sediments of the Lębork Deposit
TL;DR: In this paper, the chemical and mineralogical composition of ice-dammed lake sediments of the Lebork deposit was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry.
