Journal ArticleDOI
Corrosion resistance of Ni–Co alloy and Ni–Co/SiC nanocomposite coatings electrodeposited by sediment codeposition technique
TL;DR: In this paper, the corrosion resistance of NiCo alloy and NiCo/SiC nanocomposite coatings electrodeposited in a modified Watts bath using sediment codeposition (SCD) technique was evaluated by potentiodynamic polarization measurements in 3.5% NaCl solution and studied as a function of deposition conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of particle size and co-deposition technique on hardness and corrosion properties of Ni–Co/SiC composite coatings
Babak Bakhit,Alireza Akbari +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a modified Watt's bath containing micro and nano-sized SiC particles was used to electrodeposite NiCo/SiC alloy matrix composite coatings.
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile green synthesis of NiO nanoparticles and investigation of dye degradation and cytotoxicity effects
TL;DR: In this article, the structural, photocatalyst, optical, and magnetic properties of NiO-NPs have been investigated by FTIR, UV-Vis, XRD, FESEM, EDX, VSM, and TGA/DTG.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of nickel oxide nanoparticles as a photocatalyst in dyes degradation and evaluation of effective parameters in their removal from aqueous environments
Alireza Akbari,Zahra Sabouri,Zahra Sabouri,Hasan Ali Hosseini,Alireza Hashemzadeh,Mehrdad Khatami,Majid Darroudi +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the degradation of azo dyes with nickel oxide nanoparticles (NiO-NPs) in aqueous solutions has been investigated and the main goal of this work was to investigate the factors that can be effective on the photocatalyst degradation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Egg white-mediated green synthesis of NiO nanoparticles and study of their cytotoxicity and photocatalytic activity
Zahra Sabouri,Zahra Sabouri,Alireza Akbari,Hasan Ali Hosseini,Mehrdad Khatami,Majid Darroudi +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the NiO-NPs were examined with FT-IR, UV-Vis, XRD, FESEM/EDX/PSA, and TGA analyses.
