Computer-based assessment of reading in 7- to 10 y-o children: the role of vocabulary in word reading and comprehension

TL;DR: The authors assessed reading ability in primary school children using a computer-based program and found an effect of the grade level on the four components of reading ability: phonological decoding, orthographic discrimination, semantic categorization, and reading comprehension.
