A data processing system is configured to sense a pressure readings of an air-mattress. If the pressure readings are below a target pressure value representing a desired pressure for the air-mattress, the data processing system can transmit, to an air-pump, first instructions to increase the air pressure of the air mattress and determine a replacement value representing the amount of air pumped into the air mattress by the air-pump. The data processing system can compare the replacement value to a slow-leak threshold and to a catastrophic-leak threshold. The data processing system can, responsive to a determination that the replacement value is greater than the slow-leak value and less than the catastrophic-leak value, transmit, to the air-pump, second instructions to increase the air pressure of the air mattress to replace air in the air mattress lost to a slow leak so as to maintain the desired pressure for the air-mattress.

Diagnostics of bed and bedroom environment

A method and apparatus to provide an extended band is described. The method includes pairing a watch and a host device. The method further includes monitoring a user's status with a plurality of sensors on the host device and/or the watch, and using the extended band to do one or more of: provide alerts to the user, based on the sensor data, control the extended band from one of the devices, and share data with third parties using the extended band.

The invention discloses a movable grounding wire take-up and pay-off device which comprises a movably trolley and a take-up and pay-off mechanism. The movably trolley comprises a base plate, a vertical rack and a push rod. The base plate is provided with four wheels. Historical sleep metrics are accessed. Historical sensor data is accessed. Incidences of low quality sleep experienced by the user are identified. Particular environmental conditions that affected the user during the incidences of low quality sleep are identified. A corrective plan that specifies a change to an environmental control system to reduce the particular environmental conditions is created. The behavior of the environmental control system is modified such that the environmental control system reduces the particular environmental conditions when the user sleeps in the bed.

A hose reel structure includes an hose spool for coiling hose, a frame which rotatably supports the hose spool, and a guide arm which restricts the angle of approach of hose to the hose spool. The hose spool and guide arm are connected to the frame. At least one of the frame and guide arm are substantially U-shaped structures formed from an L-shaped piece and an I-shaped piece. The L-shaped piece has a first long side at approximately a right angle with a shorter base or front. The I-shaped piece has a second long side and fastener holes for connecting to the shorter base or front.
