TL;DR: The main factors linked to obesity are referred to, starting from oxidative stress to hormonal factors including the role of obesity in breast cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Steroid-induced improvement of neurological signs in ataxia-telangiectasia patients.
Teresa Broccoletti,E. Del Giudice,Stefania Amorosi,Ilaria Russo,M. Di Bonito,Floriana Imperati,Antonio Romano,Claudio Pignata +7 more
TL;DR: The data indicate that neurological signs in A‐T are susceptible of beneficial pharmacological intervention even years after the disease onset, and inversely correlated with the level of cerebellum atrophy, as revealed by the magnetic resonance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reliability of a new correcting factor in calculating intraocular lens power after refractive corneal surgery
TL;DR: The R factor can be used with the SRK/T or Holladay 1 formula because this method seems comparable or superior to DKM and CHM.
Journal ArticleDOI
The p85 Regulatory Subunit of PI3K Mediates cAMP-PKA and Insulin Biological Effects on MCF-7 Cell Growth and Motility
E. Di Zazzo,Antonia Feola,Candida Zuchegna,Antonio Romano,Caterina Francesca Donini,Silvia Bartollino,Ciro Costagliola,R. Frunzio,Paolo Laccetti,M. Di Domenico,M. Di Domenico,Antonio Porcellini +11 more
TL;DR: The p85α PI3KS83 role as a key regulator of cell proliferation and motility induced by insulin in MCF-7 cells breast cancer model is highlighted and phosphorylation plays a central role in the control of insulin-mediated cell proliferation, cell migration, and adhesion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurement of Oral Epithelial Thickness by Optical Coherence Tomography
Dario Di Stasio,Dorina Lauritano,Hasan Iquebal,Antonio Romano,Enrica Gentile,Alberta Lucchese +5 more
