A compact wideband monopole antenna designed for wireless applications

TL;DR: In this paper, a Compact Wideband Monopole Antenna (CWAN) designed for wireless applications has been investigated, which consists of a Radiating Patch along with a Defected Ground Plane.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Model for Slew Evaluation for On-Chip RC Interconnects using Gamma Distribution Function

TL;DR: This work presents an accurate and efficient model to compute the slew metric of on-chip interconnect of high speed CMOS circuits based on the Gamma Distribution Function, and it is shown that the approach could result in the error in slew calculation as low as 2% with lower value of driver resistance when compared with the SPICE results.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Closed form modelling for delay and slew metrics for on-chip VLSI RC interconnect for ramp inputs using F-distribution

TL;DR: A novel approach of fitting moments of the impulse response to probability density function is described, so that the interconnect delay and slew can be estimated accurately at an early physical design stage for both step and ramp input conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of fractality and complexity of the planetary K-index

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the inherent complexities and multifractal properties of the underlying distributions in the daily Planetary K-index time series collected from NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dual-Notched Monopole Antenna Using DGS for WLAN and Wi-MAX Applications

TL;DR: A wideband printed polygon-shaped monopole antenna has been designed using microstrip line feeding technique which provides dual-notch band characteristics (2.98–3.19GHz) and (3.62–5...
