Particle Swarm Optimization: A Comprehensive Survey

TL;DR: This paper attempts to provide a comprehensive review ofPSO, including the basic concepts of PSO, binary PSO , neighborhood topologies in PSO), recent and historical PSO variants, remarkable engineering applications of PSo, and its drawbacks.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Green internet of things (IoT): An overview

TL;DR: An overview regarding green IoT, which discusses the life cycle of green IoT which contains green design, green production, green utilization, and green recycling, and studies of IoT in 5G and IoT for smart cities are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation, thermal, magnetic and microwave absorption properties of thermoplastic natural rubber matrix impregnated with NiZn ferrite nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this article, NiZn ferrite nanoparticles were incorporated in thermoplastic natural rubber matrix (TPNR) as reinforcing magnetic nanofiller by melt blending technique and thermal stability, temperature dependence of coercivity and microwave absorption characteristics of the nanocomposite samples were investigated using thermogravimetric analyser, vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and vector network analyser (VNA), respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fair Resource Allocation With Interference Mitigation and Resource Reuse for LTE/LTE-A Femtocell Networks

TL;DR: A hybrid spectrum allocation approach whereby the spectrum is split between the macrocell and its nearby interfering fem tocells based on their resource demands, whereas the distant femtocells share the entire spectrum is employed.
