The utility model provides a reinforced concrete structure, and is formed in the way that a reinforced concrete body is wrapped with a steel plate outline border. The steel plate outline boarder consists of a plurality of steel plates, which encircle the outer layer of the reinforced concrete body correspondingly, and is provided with concavo-convex parts, which are joggled with the reinforced concrete body. Steel rods are connected between the steel plates and the reinforced concrete body to constitute the steel plate outline border so that the complete reinforced concrete structure has excellent shock strength, and the accidents resulting from scaling of outer concrete are effectively prevented.

symmetrical buildings, the center of gravity and center of rigidity coincide, so that the shear walls are placed
symmetrically over the outer edges or inner edges (like box shape) So, it is very necessary to find the efficient and
ideal location of shear walls in symmetrical buildings to minimize the torsion effect In this work a high rise building
with different places of shear walls is considered for analysis The multi storey building with 8 story’s is analyzed for
its displacement, strength and stability using ETABS-2015 software For the analysis of the building for seismic
loading with Zone-III is considered with soil III The analysis of the building is done by using equivalent static method
and dynamic method

Seismic Analysis of Multi-Storied Building with Shear Walls using ETABS

In this paper, the dynamic responses of a large-scale multiple-support road viaduct to mining-induced seismic events registered in two regions of mining activity were compared. The regions differ in geological structure, which results in discrepancies in the dominant frequency content. Spatial variation of ground motion causing the kinematic excitation non-uniformity was accounted for in the dynamic analyses of this large-scale structure. Non-uniform mining-induced kinematic excitation models were proposed, with respect to the specificity of mining origin quakes. The dynamic performance of the viaduct was determined using three different methods of calculation: the time history analysis, the response spectrum analysis, and the multiple support response spectrum analysis. Both the uniform and non-uniform kinematic excitation models were adopted for the dynamic performance assessment. The research revealed that the dynamic response of some members of the structure, determined using the non-uniform excitation model, was significantly greater than that obtained for the uniform one. Hence, in the dynamic analysis of multiple-support structures under mining-induced events, the effect of spatial variation of ground motion should be considered. The study pointed out that the commonly used response spectrum analysis may lead to the underestimation of the dynamic response of large-scale multiple-support structures. Instead, the multiple support response spectrum method, which takes into account the non-uniformity of ground motion, is recommended as a conservative approximation. This method provides a safe upper estimation of the full-dynamic analysis results of large-scale structures under mining-induced tremors. Finally, the research indicated that the dynamic performance of a structure strongly depends on the frequency range attributed to a specific mining region. The dynamic performance of identical engineering structures under tremors of similar maximal amplitudes may differ significantly due to discrepancies in frequency contents of shocks occurring in various mining regions.

Open ground storey system is being adopted in many buildings presently due to the advantage of open space to meet the economical and architectural demands. For offices or for any other purpose such as communication hall etc. soft storey at different levels of structure is constructed. Hence in this study an attempt has been made to investigate performance of a building with soft storey (G+14) at different level along with ground level. Also it has been tried to investigate on adding of shear wall to structures in order to reduce soft storey effect on seismic response of building. The linear response spectrum analysis was carried out and the results obtained from models were compared in terms of storey displacement, storey drift, storey shear, time period and best alternative for construction in earthquake-prone area was selected. Seismic Behavior of RC Framed Building with Soft Storey

Building designed has 1 to 8 floors with the quality of concrete f'c of 33.2 MPa, steel quality (fy) 400 MPa, and shear stress of 240 MPa. The building is analyzed by 3D structure modeling through ETABS Version 9.7 program by following all the rules and regulations applicable in Indonesia, such as the guidance of building structure and non-building, SNI 1726: 2012. This building design system is a high-rise building structure planned with a portal frame system with beams and columns as the main elements of structures made of conventional concrete. The beam carries the load transversely of its length and transfers the load to the vertical columns that accumulate it. The column accepts the load axially by the beam and transfers the load to the foundation. This building structure uses a special moment frame structure system (SRPMK) structure, considering that the hospital building is safe against earthquakes and complains about the strong column weak beam concept.
