Implementation of energy efficient/lightweight encryption algorithm for wireless body area networks
Azza Zayed Alshamsi,Ezedin Barka +1 more
TL;DR: This paper proposes and implements an energy efficient and lightweight encryption algorithm to secure the communication between a WBAN sensor and a mobile device in e-Health monitoring system and shows that the Lightweight Encryption Algorithm (LEA) is the more suitable for WBAN environment, where the devices used have limited memory space and small processing power are very small.

Lightweight encryption algorithm in wireless body area network for e-health monitoring
TL;DR: There is a proposed design architecture to secure data transmission from WBAN sensor to mobile in e-Health monitoring system by encrypting the vital signs of a patient using Lightweight Encryption Algorithm (LEA).
