The p-C analyzing power between 100 and 750 MeV

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the p-C analyzing power for laboratory scattering angles between 3° and 19° for energies between 80 and 584 MeV using a large solid angle polarimeter.
Journal ArticleDOI

First Measurement of the Spin Rotation Parameter Q for p- 40 Ca Elastic Scattering at 500 MeV

TL;DR: The spin rotation parameter Q has been measured for p-/sup 40/Ca-elastic scattering at 497 MeV for 0.01 < or =-t< or =0.15 (GeV/c)/sup 2/ with use of the new High Resolution Spectrometer focal plane polarimeter as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the pp analyzing power Aoono in a large angular region between 0.88 and 2.7 GeV

TL;DR: In this paper, the SATURNE II polarized proton beam and the Saclay frozen spin polarized target were used to measure the analyzing power of the angular distribution of the proton at all energies from kinematic threshold to 200 GeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complete measurement of polarization-transfer observables for the /sup 12/C(p,p') /sup 12/C/sup */ reaction at 500 MeV

TL;DR: The first complete measurement of the polarization transfer observables in the (p,p') reaction at intermediate energies is reported in this article, where linear combinations of these observables are shown to exhibit a very selective dependence on the isoscalar and isovector spin-dependent components of the nucleon interaction.
