Abstract: Glutaric dihydrazide (GDH) and adipic dihydrazide (ADH) have been found to react with Co(II) chloride and Ni(II) chloride and nitrate in ethanolic solution to form complexes of the general empirical compositionsMLCl2,ML2Cl2 and [NiL2(H2O)2] (NO3)2 whereM=Co(II), Ni(II) andL=GDH,ADH.
