A fuel cell stack (1) includes a plurality of stacked power generation cells (3), a heat exchange unit (7) provided between adjacent two of the power generation cells, a fuel gas supply path arranged to supply the power generation cells with a fuel gas, and an oxidant gas supply path (3, 7, 33, 34, 38) arranged to supply the power generation cells with an oxidant gas, wherein the fuel gas supply path includes in series a first path (7, 31) passing through the heat exchange unit (7), a second path (3, 32, 35, 37) passing through some of the plurality of power generation cells (3) in parallel, and a third path (3, 32, 36) passing through the other power generation cells in parallel.

Disclosed is a solid oxide fuel cell stack. The solid oxide fuel cell stack includes a unit cell, a cell frame configured to support an edge of the unit cell, a interconnecting member disposed under the cell frame, a sealing member disposed between the cell frame and the interconnecting member, and a spacer member configured to uniformly maintain an interval between the cell frame and the interconnecting member. The spacer member is disposed at an area between the cell frame and the interconnecting member, which is not sealed by the sealing member, and formed of a mica or insulating ceramic.

A manifold insert installed in a fuel cell having distribution guides is provided. The manifold insert is configured to form a flow field from an inlet port of fluid to an outlet port connected to a fuel cell stack. This manifold insert includes a plurality of distribution guides that divide the flow field from the inlet port to the outlet port such that the fuel cell stack is divided into a plurality of regions according to the distance from the inlet port. The distribution guides have surfaces that are at least partially curved such that the flow of the fluid from the inlet port to the outlet port is changed by the curved surfaces and form a plurality of guide flow fields such that the fluid is supplied to the divided regions of the fuel cell stack along the plurality of guide flow fields at different flow rates.

A fuel cell separator capable of improving stack performance by reducing the deviation in cell performance and diminishing dead space, and a fuel cell stack using the same are disclosed. The fuel cell separator may include a base member, a first channel group disposed on a surface of the base member and a second channel group disposed on the surface of the base member. The first channel group may include at least one channel and the second channel group may include at least one channel. The first channel group and the second channel group may extend parallel to each other in a first region of the surface and independent from each other in a second region of the surface.

The present invention relates to a fuel cell separator and a fuel cell stack comprising the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a fuel cell separator for enhancing flatness. The fuel cell separator according to the present invention can enhance flatness by a deformation preventing unit protruding convexly to one side of a plate, thereby preventing distortion due to temperature change and preventing contact failure or destruction. In addition, the present invention can provide a fuel cell stack enhanced in overall performance by comprising the separator.

Provided is a manifold structure for a fuel cell stack, which is able to distribute gas between the manifold and inlet of each channel uniformly, and thus cause no difference in voltage between cells, and ensures high quality of a fuel cell. The manifold structure for a fuel cell comprises a distribution port(P) for a uniform distribution of gas between the manifold(M) of a fuel cell stack and the inlet of each channel(C1-C5). The distribution port is formed in such a manner that the distance between the manifold and the inlet of each channel is the same or different. The distribution port is symmetrically formed based on the central axis of the manifold. Otherwise, the distribution port is formed only at one side of both sides of the central axis of the manifold.

A combining structure of the fuel cell stack is arranged with a current collector(10) on the outer side of a laminated cell, is arranged with an insulator(20) on the outer side of the current collector, is arranged with an end plate(30) on the outer side of insulator and is combined by the medium of the tie rod passing through them. The combining structure of the fuel cell stack is characterized in that a groove(21) is formed on the inner side of insulator and a current collector is inserted into the groove.
