The warning signalling device is used for ensuring the seat belts are fastened when the ignition is operated, that the headlights are switched off when the ignition is switched-off and that the headlights are switched-on at dusk. The signalling circuit is coupled to the ignition coil contact and coupled via the collector emitter path of a switching transistor (T1) to earth. The transistor base is connected via a diode (D1) and a base resistance (R2) to the starter relay and the starter contact (1). A series resistor (R1) and capacitor (C1) are coupled between the junction between the latter base resistance (R2) and diode (D1) and earth. This junction is also coupled to the emitter of a second switching transistor (T2) with a photoresistor (R7) across its emitter and base. The collector of the first transistor (T1) is connected via a diode (D2) and a protective resistance (R4) to the contact of the light switch.

A storage heater is controlled by a cam switch which consists of two cams on a singe axis, a lower one (3) moving freely and an upper one (2) moving with the axis (1). The cams (2, 3) are interconnected by a spring (4). The lower cam is prevented by a buttress (5), from moving beyond a certain point in relation to the upper cam. A locking mechanism (9, 10) prevents the lower cam from following the upper cam. When the upper cam reaches a position for switching on/off, the locking mechanism is released and the spring (4) pulls the lower cam instantly ensuring an instantaneous make/break.
