TL;DR: In this article, an optimally designed multi-stage connecting rod 12-foot scooter with a foot end motion trajectory as an optimization target is presented, where the length of each connecting rod in the optimized connecting rod mechanism satisfies a certain ratio relation so that the displacement fluctuations of the connecting rod mechanisms in the vertical direction are small when foot ends of the connected rod mechanisms are in contact with the ground; meanwhile, during doing leg lifting motions, the distances of the foot ends from the ground are large as much as possible so that a scooter body are furthest improved.
