The invention discloses a method for mildly and efficiently dispersing carbon onion in water. The method includes following steps: (1), preparing oxidized graphite into a GO dispersion of 0.5mg mL-1:ultrasonically dispersing at ultrasonic power of 100W for 1h, centrifuging at a rotating speed of 8000rpm, and taking supernate after centrifuging to obtain the GO dispersion; using ultrapure water to dilute the GO dispersion to obtain a GO dispersion of 0.2-0.01mg/mL in concentration for standby use; (2), adding C onion into the GO dispersion with the concentration, ultrasonically dispersing at ultrasonic power of 100W for 1h, and standing to obtain a stable carbon onion dispersion. The method is simple to operate, dispersity of the carbon onion treated by the method is remarkably improved, and conditions are created for applying the carbon onion in the aspects of composite material preparation and electrochemical sensing.
