A medical procedure for treatment of tachycardia (rapid heartbeat) or cardiac disrhythmia uses a catheter which includes a flexible coaxial transmission line (coax) terminated by an antenna. The antenna and coax are introduced into a chamber of the heart. The antenna is brought into contact with a wall of the heart. Action potentials generated by the heart are coupled through the antenna and the coaxial cable to a standard electrocardiograph apparatus for display. Other electrodes placed about the body also produce action potentials which are displayed by the electrocardiograph. The position of the antenna in the chamber of the heart is adjusted with the aid of the displayed action potentials until the antenna is in contact with the region to be ablated or injured as indicated by its characteristic electrical signature. When the antenna is adjacent to or in contact with the desired location, radio frequency or microwave frequency electrical energy is applied to the proximal end of the coax and through the coax to the antenna. The action potentials may be viewed while the electrical energy is applied. The power of the electrical energy is slowly increased until the desired amount of blockage of the bundle of His or damage to the ectopic focus has been achieved.

Disclosed are systems, methods and computer program products for detection, classification and reporting of malicious software. A method comprises loading software code into a computer system memory and emulating the software code. The software code and its activity log are then analyzed for presence of a malware. If a malware is detected, an execution flow graph is created from the activity log. The execution flow graph is then parsed using heuristic analysis to identify one or more malicious behavior patterns therein. Then, similarity indexes between the identified malicious behavior patterns and one or more malicious behavior patterns associated with known classes of malware are computed. The emulated software code is then classified into one or more classes of malware based on the computed similarity indexes. Finally, a comprehensive malware report of the emulated software code is generated based on the execution flow graph and malware classification information.

Systems and methods for malware classification

The disclosure describes a method and system that generates an electrical field model of defined stimulation therapy arid displays the electrical field model to a user via a user interface. The electrical field model is generated based upon a patient anatomy and stimulation parameters to illustrate which areas of a patient anatomical region will be covered by the electrical field during therapy. In addition, a neuron model may be applied to the electrical field model to generate an activation field model. The activation field model indicates which neurons will be activated by the electrical field in the anatomical region. These field models may be used by a clinician to determine effective therapy prior to stimulation delivery. In particular, the field models may be beneficial when programming non axi-syrnmetric, or three-dimensional (3D), leads which allow greater flexibility in creating stimulation fields.

A programming-device user interface may include multiple levels of abstraction for programming treatment settings. A stimulation zone-programming interface may be at a highest level of abstraction and may include idealized stimulation zones. A field strength-programming interface may be at a middle level of abstraction and may include electromagnetic field-strength patterns generated by the stimulation zones, and/or electrode settings, and a depiction of how the electromagnetic fields interact with each other. An electrode-programming interface may be at a lowest level of abstraction and may depict treatment settings at an electrodes-view level. These interfaces may include a display of a stimulatable area of the patient's body. The display may include a depiction of leads and/or the underlying physiology, such as a depiction of a portion of a spine. Algorithms map treatment settings from one level of abstraction to settings at one or more other levels of abstraction.

A device and method for detecting the potential level of the electromagnetic field present between a reference point and a test point of a living organism is disclosed. A reference electrode provides a first signal indicative of the potential level of the electromagnetic field at the reference point. A test electrode provides a second signal indicative of the potential level of the electromagnetic field at the test point. More than one test electrode and corresponding second signals can be employed. An analog-to-digital converter responsive to the first and second signals generates a digital signal as a function of the potential difference between the first and second signals. A processor provides an output signal indicative of a parameter or parameters of the living organism as a function of the digital signal. In addition, a low pass filter can be provided ahead of the analog-to-digital converter for filtering out undesired charges and alternating current signals from the first and second signals. The analog-to-digital converter can sample the potential difference between the first and second signals at a desired rate, and the processor can generate the output signal as a function of the digital signal and a stored program. The output signal can provide a diagnostic and predictive function, for example, of the presence or absence of atypical cellular growth, ovarian events, cancer, neurological activity, vitality of seeds, etc.
