EMENA manufactured exports and EEC trade policy
TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the implications for EMENA of EEC trade policy and showed that the comparative advantage of the EMENA coutntries lies in labor intensive products, with the low wage countries having good prospects in unskilled labor-intensive products and the socialist EMENA countries in skill intensive products.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors make recommendations for extending the reform effort while establishing macroeconomic equilibrium in China, which concern increasing the decision-making power of enterprises, which are to respond to profit incentives; creating the conditions for effective competition in Chinese industry; reforming prices; linking bonuses to work performance; establishing an effective monetary policy; rationalizing the banking system; and setting realistic interest rates.
